Microbial Fuel Cell (MFC)-type Biomonitoring System, HATOX-2000, is toxic substance detecting equipment that uses MFC, which is the first source technology in the world. HATOX-2000 is a toxin detector that features fast response and high sensitivity to toxic substances. It is equipped with an eco-friendly system that reacts to diverse toxic substances yet doesn’t emit any hazardous chemicals. It is not only easy to maintain, but also has the advantage of cost efficiency. It also has less clogging due to the use of a large drain.

Characteristics

HATOX-2000

MFC type sensor

Fast response and high sensitivity to toxins

Stable system free of false alarm

Easy maintenance

Economical maintenance expenses

Status condition display

Principle

HATOX-2000 detects level of toxicity by using MFC. When a sample containing toxic substance enters, the value of the current changes as the toxic substance affects the normal electron transport system of the microbe. Here, the difference in the value of current is displayed as level of toxicity.
